Building GridSight: How We Turned Raw F1 Data into a Live Analytics Platform

At Oriontech, we believe the best way to demonstrate what we do is to show it. That is why we built GridSight — a Formula 1 data analytics platform designed for the racing community. It takes raw race data and transforms it into rich, interactive visualisations that fans and analysts can explore in real time.
Why Formula 1?
Formula 1 generates an extraordinary volume of data every race weekend: lap times, tyre strategies, pit-stop durations, qualifying deltas, and championship standings that shift with every Grand Prix. Fans are hungry for insight, but most of this data is locked away in spreadsheets or scattered across forums. We saw an opportunity to build something better — a single platform where the numbers come alive.
